The University of the Philippines Institute for Small-Scale Industries (UP ISSI) will be making headway on a new journal entitled MSME Frontier: A Journal of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, following UP ISSI’s vision of nurturing an entrepreneurial society. This is being done in coordination with the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Development (OVCRD), which has extended assistance in the initial crafting of this journal.
One way of reaching the entrepreneurs will be to create a peer-reviewed journal that will focus on helping micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), through compilations of papers with topics on entrepreneurship. These topics will range from but will not be limited to ideas on enterprise development, SME policy development, entrepreneurship education, green enterprises and innovation.
Through practical and theoretical studies, the journal aims to help improve the mSMEs’ processes, strategies and outcomes and also aims to aid the government in advancing its economic policies and laws.
Original, unpublished paper submissions are most welcome, and must be coursed through the journal’s managing editor. Inquiries and submissions may be sent to email@example.com .
