The Institute provides technical assistance to ensure the commercial viability and profitability of products made by enterprises of indigenous communities. Of particular importance was the technical assistance provided to the Kalahan Educational Foundation on planning and managing their income-generating projects. This extension work was made possible in partnership with the UP Office of the President and the UP Office of the Vice President for Public Affairs.
