BUYanihan sa Diliman 2025: A Celebration of MSMEs!
UP Diliman, Quezon City — November 22, 2025
The UP Institute for Small-Scale Industries (UP ISSI) wrapped up BUYanihan sa Diliman, a lively four-day fair held from November 19-22 at the UP ISSI parking grounds. Organized under the leadership of the Administrative Delivery Division and the Director’s Office, the event featured nearly 40 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), offering a wide range of food, handicrafts, personal care items and other creative products.
A highlight of the fair was daily raffle draws made possible by generous sponsors. Robinson’s Easymart donated three (3) bags of goodies, Ms. Criselda E. Young contributed beautifully crafted cakes, and Privato Hotels offered an overnight stay good for two, exciting visitors and encouraging lively participation throughout the four days.
The fair celebrated the creativity, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit of small-scale business owners, while also fostering community partnerships and networking. As the UP ISSI Director, Ms. Melanie M. Moraga-Leano emphasized, BUYanihan is more than just a fair – it’s a strong call to support MSMEs and their vital role in local economic growth and community development.
With its successful conclusion, UP ISSI looks forward to sustaining programs that empower small businesses and strengthen the MSME ecosystem in the years ahead!
