One of the latest to join UP ISSI’s roster, Senedith A. delos Reyes, was among those nominated last June to study in Europe as part of the École Supérieure des Sciences Commerciales d’Angers (ESSCA) summer student exchange program.
Delos Reyes took the intensive four-week study in Angers and Paris, France as well as in Brussels, Belgium in connection with her Master’s degree program in Business Administration in UP Diliman. She took courses on European Union Studies, Culture and Communication. The program also included a series of visits and meetings with the European Commission, European Institute of Peace, Bureau Européen des Unions de Consommateurs or the European Consumer Organization, and some Pays de la Loire region representatives.
A total of 29 students from the United States, Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mexico, and the Philippines completed the program.
Founded in 1909, ESSCA was known to prepare its students to become managers in marketing, finance and management in an international environment. Also known as the only post-secondary business school with international accreditation, ESSCA has been granted four “labels” of excellence: Conférence des Grandes Ecoles, a certified diploma, a Master status and a European Foundation for Management Development Programme Accreditation System, or EPAS, certification. The school also appears in the Financial Times ranking for 2015.
