ISSI’s 3rd Data Analytics Course
The University of the Philippines Institute for Small-Scale Industries (UP ISSI) proudly concludes its 3rd Data Analytics Course. From June 20-22, 2023, this online training program via Zoom successfully capacitated 19 participants from the government and private sector on the use of data analytics for small businesses.
Led by Dr. Eduardo Q. Canela, a data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), systems and organizational development (OD) practitioner, participants acquired essential data analytics skills to drive informed decision-making and capitalize on business opportunities. Under the guidance of the program team composed of Engr. Jefferson Sumalabe and Ms. Menchie Sumilang, the training provided a seamless and interactive virtual experience.
The course covered topics such as data collection, cleaning, analysis, and visualization, and showcased practical applications and real-world examples. UP ISSI remains committed to empowering small businesses with the latest knowledge and tools, especially those that are readily available and inexpensive, or even free.
