4th Data Analytics Course Kicks Off for MSMEs 

The much-anticipated 4th Data Analytics Course targeted for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) opened its doors on March 9, 2024, marking the beginning of a three-Saturday program aimed at empowering small businesses with essential data analytics skills. 

The training program, which runs until March 23, 2024, has attracted 21 participants from a diverse range of industries, including manufacturing and services, as well as representatives from government agencies keen on leveraging data analytics for better decision-making.

The opening ceremony was graced by UP ISSI Director Melanie M. Moraga-Leaño, who delivered inspiring remarks emphasizing the importance of data-driven strategies in today’s competitive business landscape. Director Moraga-Leaño highlighted the program’s role in equipping MSMEs with the necessary tools to thrive in the digital age.

Behind the scenes, the program is managed by Engr. Jefferson Sumalabe and Ms. Neldie de Jesus, who ensure the smooth operation of the course and provide invaluable support to both participants and the resource person.

Speaking of which, the training program is privileged to have Dr. Eduardo Q. Canela as its esteemed resource person. With a wealth of experience in data analytics and a passion for teaching, Dr. Canela is set to deliver engaging and insightful sessions tailored to the needs of MSME owners and staff with little or no prior knowledge of data analytics.

The 4th Data Analytics Course promises to be a transformative experience for all involved, equipping participants with the skills and confidence needed to harness the power of data for business success.
