UP ISSI opens additional 2 programs for Q1
QUEZON CITY – The University of the Philippines Institute for Small-Scale Industries commenced the opening of two additional training programs for the first quarter of the year held at E. Virata Hall of UP ISSI, March 09. 2024.
Both the 29th Creative and Effective Selling Techniques (CEST) Course and the 4th Data Analytics Course (DAC) yielded 21 participants.
Professor Melanie M. Moraga-Leaño, Director of UP ISSI, delivered the welcoming remarks while Mr. Gerard Alava, a visiting professor from UP Diliman Virata School of Business, and Dr. Eduardo Canela, consultant on AI and Organizational Development, served as the resource persons on Day 1 lectures of the CEST and DAC respectively.
Director Moraga-Leaño expressed her utmost appreciation to all training participants for maintaining a growth mindset through their commitment to keep pace with the changing business landscape by developing their skills and competence essential to thrive in their business.
Meanwhile, Engr. Rolando Ramon C. Diaz, TEED Head, attended the case study and Home Action Plan (BHAP) presentations of the participants and graced the closing ceremonies.
The 76th Productivity through Effective Supervision (PES) and the 66th Accounting for Non-Accountants (AfNA) culminated with 26 successful completers in PES and 20 for AfNA.
